Should you reroll in Monster Hunter Outlanders?
Rerolling means creating an account, playing to the first banner, pulling, and starting over if you do not like the result. In Monster Hunter Outlanders that loop is slow. The recruitment menu only opens at the Chapter 1 quest where you first meet other Adventurers, about seven quests in, and there is no guest login or in-game data reset. Every attempt needs a separate Google, Apple, X, Facebook, LINE, Discord or Level Infinite account.
The payoff is also small. With an SSR rate of 0.6%, roughly 40 pulls give you about a one-in-five chance of any SSR and far less of the one you want. Meanwhile seven Adventurers are free, including the S-tier Luka, and the limited banner has a 90-pull SSR guarantee that carries over between limited banners. For most players, the better plan is to keep the account you have, claim the launch rewards and save tickets for the guarantee. The banner guide explains the pity system.
Best Monster Hunter Outlanders reroll targets
Only gacha SSRs are worth a reroll in Monster Hunter Outlanders. Haze is not on any banner (she is a Guild shop exchange), and the free Adventurers come to everyone.

How to reroll in Monster Hunter Outlanders, step by step
- Pick your server first. North America, Japan and Europe are separate and data never transfers. Choose the one you will play on for good; see servers and regions.
- Log in with a fresh linked account. There is no guest mode, so you need a new email-based Level Infinite account or another login each time.
- Play to the first recruitment. Follow the main story until Chapter 1 unlocks recruitment, around 30 minutes. The first pull is always SR Raya.
- Claim the mailbox. Launch gifts include limited-banner tickets and standard tickets. Do not enter one-time codes yet.
- Pull and decide. Spend limited tickets on the Midori banner and standard tickets on the starter or standard banner. Keep the account if you get Midori or Pepper.
- Enter codes on the account you keep. Some codes, such as magazine codes, work only once.
If you do not reroll: the free route
Do this instead: play the story to unlock Madelyn and Ouyang Varen, finish the launch events for Pyro and Luka, push Adventure Rank for Ryunosuke and Luxheart, and join a Guild to work toward Haze. That gives you every class and all five elements without a single pull. Then spend tickets only when you can reach the 90-pull guarantee. The beginner guide lists the order.
